How long have you been at CrossFit Algiers? 17 months.
What keeps you coming back? To challenge my brain.
How did you find CrossFit? From my clients.
What is your athletic background? Hiking, trekking, cycling and Scuba Diving.
How has CrossFit Algiers changed your life, lifestyle and level of fitness? I can mow two yards, do groceries and do CrossFit in the same day. My husband had a stroke last year, and my CrossFit has made me a sterner task master for his recovery.
Is there something you have done here that you never thought you could do? Enjoy not being good at a lot of things.
What motivates/inspires you? Food as Medicine, being Undoctored.
What goals have you achieved at CrossFit Algiers? Being captain of my ship and master of my destiny. Excitement. Awe.
Hobbies/interests outside of CrossFit? Structural integration, photography, scuba diving, trekking, hiking, music, travel, Food as Medicine, being Undoctored.
Tell me about your diet: Vegetarian, mostly.
Any advice for someone thinking about trying CrossFit Algiers? Go and be excited.
Any advice for new members? Be patient with your body, and stretch every day.
