How long have you been at CrossFit Algiers? 2 years

 

What keeps you coming back? The visible results

 

How did you find CrossFit?  My wife

What is your athletic background? Played football in high school 

How has CrossFit Algiers changed your life, lifestyle and level of fitness? My overall health has greatly improved—better blood pressure and kidney function. More aware of portion control. I’ve lost weight and been able to maintain it. Trimmed my waist and stomach. Increased definition. Just overall more sexy! ;p

 

Is there something you have done here that you never thought you could do? I ran a sub 9 minute mile 

 

What motivates/inspires you? To maintain a physically healthy lifestyle to increase my chance of a long, healthy life to be there for my family. Also, I tried CrossFit with my wife, and she kicked my ass. I was motivated to not let that happen again, and to get in much better shape!

 

Name one goal/personal achievement that you would like to achieve through CrossFit Algiers? Place in a CrossFit competition 

 

What goals have you achieved at CrossFit Algiers? Met power clean goals, weight goals and body fat %

Hobbies/interests outside of CrossFit. Football, hiking, politics, volunteering 

 

Tell me about your diet: smoothie or a fried egg on toast for breakfast, sandwich or leftovers for lunch, meat and vegetable side for dinner. 

 

Any advice for someone thinking about trying CrossFit Algiers? Don’t be afraid or embarrassed about your current fitness. The gym is a welcoming place, and there is no judgment when you are here.

 

Any advice for new members?

It may be hard now, and it won’t get easier, if you continue to push yourself. However, you will be surprised and excited with the results you see as you continue to push your limits.
