CrossFit Algiers owner selected for Urban League Women In Business Challenge
(11/13/2016) Jodi Lynn Jordan, the owner of CrossFit Algiers, was recently selected as a semi-finalist in the Urban League of Greater New Orleans Women in Business Challenge. This business accelerator program for female entrepreneurs culminates with a pitch competition at New Orleans Entrepreneur Week in early 2017. The winner will received $10,000 in seed capital to aid in expansion goals for their business.
Over the next three months, Ms. Jordan, along with the other semi-finalists, will attend intensive business seminars weekly through the ULGNO. Topics include business financials, marketing, strategic growth planning and legal readiness.
“I am honored to be among the women selected for this program,” Ms. Jordan said. “In my business – health and wellness – we believe in continued improvement through the pursuit of excellence. Being a part of the Women In Business Challenge is another way to pursue excellence, and I’m very grateful to ULGNO for this opportunity.”
